Much noise has already flowed from the 2020-21 NBA season, but the outstanding performances of Stephen Curry, LeBron James and others have arguably been overshadowed by the news surrounding Kyrie Irving’s seven straight missed games. As the 28-year-old joins his new Brooklyn Nets squad as they head to Cleveland, another colorway of his Nike Kyrie 7 has emerged.
While still set to launch as part of the Nike Rayguns collection, the newly revamped pair forgoes a predominantly “black” color scheme in favor of a palette comprised of shades of navy blue, bright green and pink. Side swooshes indulge in a chunky aesthetic, while spines feature an eye-catching set of embroidered eyes. Underfoot, Irving’s latest basketball sneaker reinforces its bold design as the directional tread is coated in a seemingly fluorescent shade of green.
Enjoy official images of the guard’s next pair below and expect Irving to lace them up alongside new teammate James Harden soon.
